Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.74%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Nel ASA (OL:NEL), which rose 5.60% or 0.30 points to trade at 5.66 at the close. Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) added 1.52% or 2.00 points to end at 133.50 and Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) was up 1.22% or 1.15 points to 95.35 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO), which lost 3.74% or 9.70 points to trade at 249.40 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL) declined 3.28% or 4.30 points to end at 126.70 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG) shed 3.21% or 36.00 points to 1,086.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 189 to 87 and 33 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.27% or 0.20 to $73.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $77.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 6.55 to trade at $2,534.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.27% to 11.72, while USD/NOK unchanged 0.04% to 10.59.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 101.59.
