Investing.com – Italy equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Chemicals and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 gained 1.10% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Poste Italiane SpA (BIT:PST), which rose 3.00% or 0.39 points to trade at 13.38 at the close. Davide Campari Milano SpA (BIT:CPRI) added 2.91% or 0.22 points to end at 7.77 and FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (BIT:FBK) was up 2.51% or 0.38 points to 15.34 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Stellantis NV (BIT:STLAM), which lost 0.45% or 0.05 points to trade at 11.96 in late trade. ERG (BIT:ERG) declined 0.44% or 0.10 points to end at 22.62 and Inwit (BIT:INWT) shed 0.27% or 0.03 points to 10.99.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 319 to 199 and 44 ended unchanged on the Milan Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.10% or 0.07 to $70.46 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $74.18 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 14.95 to trade at $2,706.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.29% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.39% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 103.61.
