Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Real Estate and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.72%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Nova (TASE:NVMI), which rose 5.02% or 3,910.00 points to trade at 81,800.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) added 2.41% or 330.00 points to end at 14,050.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) was up 2.09% or 1,280.00 points to 62,430.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which lost 4.19% or 200.00 points to trade at 4,570.00 in late trade. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 3.45% or 25.10 points to end at 702.90 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE) shed 3.27% or 114.00 points to 3,377.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 373 to 83 and 83 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.66% or 0.49 to $74.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.64% or 0.50 to hit $78.91 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 7.35 to trade at $2,382.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.36% to 3.73, while EUR/ILS rose 0.52% to 4.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 104.25.
