Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which rose 2.86% or 156.00 points to trade at 5,610.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 1.69% or 116.00 points to end at 6,982.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was up 0.60% or 5.50 points to 925.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which lost 4.62% or 730.00 points to trade at 15,070.00 in late trade. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 3.08% or 1,950.00 points to end at 61,360.00 and Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE) shed 2.75% or 107.00 points to 3,788.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 285 to 146 and 108 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.80% or 0.56 to $69.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.68% or 0.50 to hit $73.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 4.60 to trade at $2,527.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.17% to 3.68, while EUR/ILS rose 0.25% to 4.08.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.54% at 101.22.
