Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which rose 1.81% or 570 points to trade at 32020 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) added 1.20% or 26 points to end at 2197 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) was up 1.11% or 83 points to 7539 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 2.86% or 50 points to trade at 1697 in late trade. Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) declined 1.16% or 0.5 points to end at 42.6 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) shed 1.06% or 15 points to 1395.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 215 to 192 and 30 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.47% or 0.28 to $60.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.71% or 0.47 to hit $66.63 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 7.90 to trade at $1305.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.51% to 3.4793, while EUR/ILS rose 1.64% to 4.1769.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 91.99.
