Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Strauss Group (TA:STRS), which rose 1.52% or 107 points to trade at 7141 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) added 1.49% or 7.9 points to end at 536.7 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) was up 1.26% or 0.6 points to 48.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT), which lost 1.55% or 71 points to trade at 4504 in late trade. Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) declined 1.39% or 310 points to end at 21990 and Poalim (TA:POLI) shed 1.38% or 33 points to 2357.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 203 to 201 and 12 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.42% or 0.24 to $56.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $63.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 5.38 to trade at $1279.58 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.12% to 3.5450, while EUR/ILS fell 0.18% to 4.1345.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 94.41.
