Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Financials, Banking and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.95% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE), which rose 4.31% or 209.00 points to trade at 5,060.00 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) added 4.03% or 238.00 points to end at 6,141.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 4.01% or 2,700.00 points to 70,090.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which lost 2.39% or 640.00 points to trade at 26,170.00 in late trade. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 2.20% or 400.00 points to end at 17,790.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) shed 1.93% or 123.00 points to 6,247.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 354 to 118 and 66 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.61% or 1.10 to $67.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.35% or 0.97 to hit $71.12 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 11.20 to trade at $2,659.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.56% to 3.57, while EUR/ILS fell 0.53% to 3.78.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 105.73.
