Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.91% to hit a new 3-year high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TA:DSCT), which rose 2.76% or 33.0 points to trade at 1230.0 at the close. Poalim (TA:POLI) added 2.65% or 69 points to end at 2677 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 2.46% or 51 points to 2122 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT), which lost 1.32% or 25 points to trade at 1871 in late trade. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 0.82% or 14 points to end at 1688 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) shed 0.74% or 310 points to 41580.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 237 to 171 and 14 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $68.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.28% or 0.21 to hit $76.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 4.20 to trade at $1217.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.07% to 3.6295, while EUR/ILS rose 0.35% to 4.2361.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 94.73.
