Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Biomed and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.73%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 5.05% or 34.30 points to trade at 713.80 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) added 4.15% or 62.00 points to end at 1,555.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) was up 3.78% or 1,420.00 points to 39,020.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which lost 1.51% or 190.00 points to trade at 12,390.00 in late trade. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 1.46% or 210.00 points to end at 14,170.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) shed 1.45% or 71.00 points to 4,824.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 267 to 176 and 96 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.11% or 0.09 to $81.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $85.15 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 5.70 to trade at $2,338.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.62% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS rose 0.30% to 4.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 105.40.
