Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.53%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 3.74% or 303 points to trade at 8408 at the close. Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) added 3.16% or 64 points to end at 2089 and Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) was up 2.17% or 410 points to 19340 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 2.06% or 35 points to trade at 1668 in late trade. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) declined 1.91% or 600.0 points to end at 30820.0 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) shed 1.71% or 150 points to 8600.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 198 to 170 and 46 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 5.66% or 3.71 to $69.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $75.32 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1271.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.46% to 3.6040, while EUR/ILS fell 0.01% to 4.2010.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 94.19.
