Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which rose 3.24% or 87.00 points to trade at 2,773.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 3.14% or 2,000.00 points to end at 65,700.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 2.40% or 1,900.00 points to 81,000.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which lost 1.68% or 250.00 points to trade at 14,640.00 in late trade. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 1.43% or 1,240.00 points to end at 85,300.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) shed 0.68% or 31.00 points to 4,501.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 311 to 130 and 98 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.95% or 1.50 to $75.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.80% or 1.46 to hit $79.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.16% or 53.80 to trade at $2,546.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.54% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 102.31.
