Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT), which rose 4.21% or 67.00 points to trade at 1,659.00 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) added 2.95% or 163.00 points to end at 5,689.00 and Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) was up 2.79% or 58.00 points to 2,140.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which lost 2.87% or 174.00 points to trade at 5,887.00 in late trade. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 1.23% or 860.00 points to end at 68,830.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) shed 1.17% or 5.20 points to 439.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 283 to 177 and 79 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.06% or 0.05 to $82.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.19% or 0.16 to hit $85.59 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 1.05 to trade at $2,364.55 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.23% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS fell 0.29% to 3.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 104.82.
