Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Communication sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR), which rose 4.09% or 4,990.00 points to trade at 126,850.00 at the close. Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) added 3.89% or 176.00 points to end at 4,700.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 3.01% or 45.00 points to 1,540.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which lost 1.77% or 90.00 points to trade at 5,000.00 in late trade. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 1.52% or 1,340.00 points to end at 86,650.00 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) shed 1.40% or 530.00 points to 37,300.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 7 to 4 and 1 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.53% or 0.41 to $78.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.57% or 0.47 to hit $82.39 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 15.45 to trade at $2,342.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.55% to 3.69, while EUR/ILS rose 0.40% to 4.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.26% at 103.87.
