Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which rose 2.57% or 154 points to trade at 6150 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) added 2.23% or 51 points to end at 2343 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE) was up 2.15% or 98 points to 4650 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which lost 3.62% or 124 points to trade at 3305 in late trade. OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) declined 2.35% or 19 points to end at 794 and Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) shed 1.61% or 950 points to 58000.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 205 to 184 and 27 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.38% or 0.22 to $57.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.30% or 0.19 to hit $64.30 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.65 to trade at $1399.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.11% to 3.5645, while EUR/ILS fell 0.16% to 3.9946.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 97.113.
