Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 3.17% or 33 points to trade at 1074 at the close. Strauss Group (TA:STRS) added 2.77% or 209 points to end at 7759 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 2.62% or 1570 points to 61400 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which lost 3.63% or 1110 points to trade at 29430 in late trade. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:ALHE) declined 1.44% or 49 points to end at 3344 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) shed 1.23% or 130 points to 10480.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 197 to 182 and 34 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.81% or 0.52 to $63.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.52% or 0.35 to hit $66.94 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.09% or 14.50 to trade at $1318.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.11% to 3.4795, while EUR/ILS fell 0.69% to 4.2589.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 90.32.
