Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Leumi (TA:LUMI), which rose 3.83% or 79 points to trade at 2143 at the close. First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TA:FTIN) added 2.69% or 197 points to end at 7528 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was up 2.26% or 55 points to 2490 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which lost 4.42% or 2770 points to trade at 59830 in late trade. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 1.79% or 19 points to end at 1041 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) shed 1.76% or 23 points to 1284.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 193 to 185 and 39 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $63.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $67.00 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 4.00 to trade at $1334.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.10% to 3.4867, while EUR/ILS rose 0.01% to 4.2874.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 89.90.
