Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.00% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM), which rose 12.88% or 753 points to trade at 6600 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) added 1.51% or 75 points to end at 5039 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) was up 1.04% or 12 points to 1163 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which lost 3.00% or 9.7 points to trade at 313.7 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 1.38% or 91 points to end at 6508 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) shed 1.23% or 220 points to 17720.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 273 to 125 and 22 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.61% or 0.34 to $56.32 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.54% or 0.36 to hit $66.14 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.39% or 18.35 to trade at $1340.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.09% to 3.6192, while EUR/ILS rose 0.27% to 4.0999.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 96.482.
