Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Agriculture and Mining sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 1.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:TRUS), which rose 34.56% or 47.00 points to trade at 183.00 at the close. Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS) added 24.65% or 70.00 points to end at 354.00 and Goodyear Indonesia Tbk (JK:GDYR) was up 16.85% or 300.00 points to 2080.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included PT First Indo American Leasing Tbk (JK:FINN), which lost 21.79% or 34 points to trade at 122 in late trade. Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) declined 18.03% or 11.00 points to end at 50.00 and PT Cahayasakti Investindo Sukses Tbk (JK:CSIS) shed 15.63% or 250 points to 1350.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 331 to 57 and 91 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.92% or 0.59 to $63.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.15% or 0.78 to hit $66.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 9.80 to trade at $1346.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.13% to 13556.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.11% to 10680.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 89.36.
