Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Geoprima Solusi Tbk PT (JK:GPSO), which rose 33.64% or 36.00 points to trade at 143.00 at the close. Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) added 33.33% or 1.00 points to end at 4.00 and Inocycle Technology Tbk PT (JK:INOV) was up 23.96% or 23.00 points to 119.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bhakti Agung Propertindo (JK:BAPI), which lost 10.00% or 2.00 points to trade at 18.00 in late trade. Multipolar Technology Tbk (JK:MLPT) declined 9.97% or 1,575.00 points to end at 14,225.00 and Citra Tubindo Tbk (JK:CTBN) shed 9.95% or 210.00 points to 1,900.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 370 to 218 and 231 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.29% or 0.87 to $68.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.17% or 0.83 to hit $71.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 13.50 to trade at $2,794.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.33% to 15,698.80, while AUD/IDR fell 0.10% to 10,323.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 103.97.
