Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.41% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Mandala Multifinance Tbk (JK:MFIN), which rose 1,510.26% or 2,945.00 points to trade at 3,140.00 at the close. Metropolitan Kentjana Tbk (JK:MKPI) added 1,185.71% or 24,900.00 points to end at 27,000.00 and Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (JK:AALI) was up 275.81% or 4,275.00 points to 5,825.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC), which lost 99.39% or 9,691.00 points to trade at 59.00 in late trade. Totalindo Eka Persada Tbk PT (JK:TOPS) declined 99.35% or 308.00 points to end at 2.00 and Lenox Pasifik Investama Tbk PT (JK:LPPS) shed 99.33% or 8,095.00 points to 55.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 429 to 218 and 175 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.12% or 0.09 to $77.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.10% or 0.08 to hit $81.71 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 3.60 to trade at $2,323.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.03% to 16,313.80, while AUD/IDR fell 0.07% to 10,771.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 104.82.
