Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Agriculture, Miscellaneous Industry and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Fortune Indonesia Tbk (JK:FORU), which rose 34.53% or 48 points to trade at 187 at the close. Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha (JK:WOMF) added 9.90% or 20 points to end at 222 and Nipress Tbk (JK:NIPS) was up 9.78% or 45 points to 505 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (JK:IKAI), which lost 34.64% or 62 points to trade at 117 in late trade. Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk PT (JK:AHAP) declined 20.53% or 39 points to end at 151 and Capital Financial Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:CASA) shed 20.00% or 42 points to 168.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 198 to 149 and 132 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.50% or 0.32 to $63.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.17% or 0.12 to hit $69.14 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 8.70 to trade at $1331.20 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.13% to 13353.0, while AUD/IDR fell 2.32% to 10401.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.52% at 91.18.
