Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Mining and Trade sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Visi Media Asia Tbk (JK:VIVA), which rose 21.95% or 54 points to trade at 300 at the close. PT Cahayasakti Investindo Sukses Tbk (JK:CSIS) added 21.21% or 140 points to end at 800 and Buana Finance Tbk (JK:BBLD) was up 12.83% or 58 points to 510 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Rimo International Lestari Tbk PT (JK:RIMO), which lost 24.41% or 62.000 points to trade at 192.000 in late trade. Kapuas Prima Coal Tbk PT (JK:ZINC) declined 17.07% or 285 points to end at 1385 and Siwani Makmur Tbk (JK:SIMA) shed 16.16% or 74.00 points to 384.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 203 to 136 and 118 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.19% or 0.11 to $57.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.11% or 0.07 to hit $63.76 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 5.25 to trade at $1281.05 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.04% to 13517.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.19% to 10343.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 94.73.
