Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Agriculture, Basic Industry and Property sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.11% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Fortune Indonesia Tbk (JK:FORU), which rose 2,030.77% or 2,640.00 points to trade at 2,770.00 at the close. Maha Properti Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:MPRO) added 1,727.27% or 1,900.00 points to end at 2,010.00 and Arthavest Tbk (JK:ARTA) was up 1,046.67% or 2,355.00 points to 2,580.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (JK:MPPA), which lost 99.30% or 7,100.00 points to trade at 50.00 in late trade. Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) declined 97.60% or 122.00 points to end at 3.00 and Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk PT (JK:AHAP) shed 97.44% or 4,141.00 points to 109.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 373 to 289 and 165 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.93% or 0.68 to $73.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.84% or 0.64 to hit $77.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 7.00 to trade at $2,633.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.09% to 15,711.35, while AUD/IDR rose 0.20% to 10,566.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 102.70.
