Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Dua Putra Utama Makmur PT (JK:DPUM), which rose 34.62% or 18.00 points to trade at 70.00 at the close. Geoprima Solusi Tbk PT (JK:GPSO) added 24.67% or 185.00 points to end at 935.00 and Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional (JK:JSPT) was up 20.00% or 1,800.00 points to 10,800.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK:MTFN), which lost 16.67% or 1.00 points to trade at 5.00 in late trade. Himalaya Energi Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:HADE) declined 16.67% or 1.00 points to end at 5.00 and Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO) shed 13.08% or 28.00 points to 186.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 330 to 277 and 230 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.22% or 0.15 to $68.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.17% or 0.12 to hit $72.02 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.16 to trade at $2,685.64 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.13% to 15,869.95, while AUD/IDR fell 0.62% to 10,143.14.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 105.93.
