Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Agriculture, Mining and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM), which rose 25.00% or 1200 points to trade at 6000 at the close. Kioson Komersial Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:KIOS) added 25.00% or 340 points to end at 1700 and Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance PT (JK:MTWI) was up 24.56% or 56 points to 284 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF), which lost 25.00% or 100 points to trade at 300 in late trade. Lippo General Insurance Tbk (JK:LPGI) declined 13.64% or 750 points to end at 4750 and Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI) shed 7.84% or 8 points to 94.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 167 to 157 and 133 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.76% or 0.89 to $51.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.10% or 1.18 to hit $57.43 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.09 to trade at $1296.59 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.21% to 13493.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.41% to 10617.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 92.91.
