Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Mining, Basic Industry and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bentoel International Investama (JK:RMBA), which rose 22.98% or 74 points to trade at 396 at the close. Gowa Makassar Tourism Develop (JK:GMTD) added 16.87% or 1400 points to end at 9700 and Duta Intidaya Tbk PT (JK:DAYA) was up 15.15% or 30 points to 228 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tembaga Mulia Semanan Tbk (JK:TBMS), which lost 16.42% or 220.00 points to trade at 1120.00 in late trade. Sat Nusapersada Tbk (JK:PTSN) declined 13.58% or 22 points to end at 140 and Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk PT (JK:GOLD) shed 12.86% or 72 points to 488.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 191 to 123 and 128 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.21% or 0.11 to $51.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.62% or 0.36 to hit $57.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 7.48 to trade at $1294.22 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.35% to 13432.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.08% to 10536.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 93.14.
