Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk (JK:MASA), which rose 3,400.00% or 5,780.00 points to trade at 5,950.00 at the close. Pelita Teknologi Global PT Tbk (JK:CHIP) added 925.00% or 1,480.00 points to end at 1,640.00 and Pt Pakuan Tbk (JK:UANG) was up 300.00% or 375.00 points to 500.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN), which lost 99.31% or 286.00 points to trade at 2.00 in late trade. Bakrieland Development Tbk (JK:ELTY) declined 98.88% or 618.00 points to end at 7.00 and Tirta Mahakam Resources Tbk (JK:TIRT) shed 97.94% or 857.00 points to 18.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 337 to 313 and 179 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.49% or 0.39 to $80.10 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.39% or 0.33 to hit $84.06 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 13.55 to trade at $2,481.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.34% to 16,109.10, while AUD/IDR fell 0.29% to 10,850.93.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 103.66.
