Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Property and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 1.48% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR), which rose 34.97% or 50.00 points to trade at 193.00 at the close. Borneo Olah Sarana Sukses PT (JK:BOSS) added 25.00% or 150 points to end at 750 and Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS) was up 24.62% or 98.00 points to 496.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Enseval Putra Megatrading Tbk (JK:EPMT), which lost 22.07% or 660 points to trade at 2330 in late trade. Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk PT (JK:AHAP) declined 7.89% or 15 points to end at 175 and Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) shed 6.36% or 7.00 points to 103.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 263 to 111 and 107 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.86% or 0.53 to $62.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.59% or 0.38 to hit $65.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.70 to trade at $1350.50 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.03% to 13551.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.84% to 10803.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 89.04.
