Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Basic Industry and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.95% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Shield On Service Tbk PT (JK:SOSS), which unchanged 0.00% or 0 points to trade at 1950 at the close. Super Energy Tbk PT (JK:SURE) added 24.68% or 580 points to end at 2930 and Radiant Utama Interinsco Tbk (JK:RUIS) was up 22.61% or 52 points to 282 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Yulie Sekurindo Tbk (JK:YULE), which lost 31.05% or 59 points to trade at 131 in late trade. Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk (JK:YPAS) declined 23.91% or 165 points to end at 525 and Argha Karya Prima Ind Tbk (JK:AKPI) shed 13.33% or 120 points to 780.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 234 to 175 and 116 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.35% or 0.76 to $57.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.52% or 1.01 to hit $67.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.44% or 17.30 to trade at $1216.50 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.17% to 14596.2, while AUD/IDR fell 0.68% to 10626.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 96.85.
