Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.80%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bank Artos Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ARTO), which fell 0.35% or 10.00 points to trade at 2,810.00 at the close. Metropolitan Kentjana Tbk (JK:MKPI) added 1,185.71% or 24,900.00 points to end at 27,000.00 and Bank Net Indonesia Syariah Tbk PT (JK:BANK) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 895.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Citatah Tbk (JK:CTTH), which lost 99.03% or 2,352.00 points to trade at 23.00 in late trade. Omni Inovasi Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:TELE) declined 98.71% or 306.00 points to end at 4.00 and Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk PT (JK:BIMA) shed 97.18% or 2,721.00 points to 79.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 354 to 293 and 176 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.41% or 0.31 to $75.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.44% or 0.35 to hit $78.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $2,463.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.37% to 15,918.80, while AUD/IDR fell 0.39% to 10,491.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 103.00.
