Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.47% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO), which rose 29.27% or 48.00 points to trade at 212.00 at the close. Geoprima Solusi Tbk PT (JK:GPSO) added 25.00% or 150.00 points to end at 750.00 and Jhonlin Agro Raya PT Tbk (JK:JARR) was up 24.49% or 72.00 points to 366.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk PT (JK:BEBS), which lost 16.67% or 1.00 points to trade at 5.00 in late trade. Dosni Roha Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ZBRA) declined 16.09% or 14.00 points to end at 73.00 and Sona Topas Tourism Industry (JK:SONA) shed 13.74% or 1,175.00 points to 7,375.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 345 to 263 and 228 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.41% or 0.95 to $68.15 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.27% or 0.90 to hit $72.02 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 8.54 to trade at $2,668.14 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.01% to 15,863.20, while AUD/IDR rose 0.31% to 10,195.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 105.72.
