Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Trade and Mining sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (JK:LPIN), which rose 25.00% or 225 points to trade at 1125 at the close. Trimitra Propertindo Tbk PT (JK:LAND) added 24.68% or 285 points to end at 1440 and Inti Kapuas Arowana Tbk (JK:IIKP) was up 18.64% or 44.00 points to 280.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Akbar Indomakmur Stimec Tbk (JK:AIMS), which lost 13.04% or 30 points to trade at 200 in late trade. Binakarya Jaya Abadi Tbk PT (JK:BIKA) declined 12.50% or 25 points to end at 175 and Totalindo Eka Persada Tbk PT (JK:TOPS) shed 11.52% or 95 points to 730.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 195 to 187 and 116 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.68% or 0.48 to $70.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.97% or 0.76 to hit $79.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1211.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.34% to 14825.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.49% to 10763.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 93.59.
