Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.55%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.15% or 0.0580 points to trade at 5.1220 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 0.82% or 0.039 points to end at 4.816 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 0.79% or 0.56 points to 71.76 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Metso Oyj (HE:METSO), which lost 2.88% or 0.88 points to trade at 29.66 in late trade. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) declined 2.52% or 1.16 points to end at 44.86 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) shed 2.34% or 0.132 points to 5.500.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 72 to 68 and 21 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.93% or 1.60 to $84.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 2.01% or 1.47 to hit $74.72 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.10 to trade at $1193.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.28% to 1.1572, while EUR/GBP fell 0.33% to 0.8877.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.95.
