Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 2.57% or 0.200 points to trade at 7.982 at the close. Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) added 1.99% or 1.36 points to end at 69.62 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM) was up 1.22% or 0.38 points to 31.41 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V), which lost 3.24% or 0.60 points to trade at 18.09 in late trade. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) declined 2.95% or 0.150 points to end at 4.940 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) shed 2.13% or 0.55 points to 25.29.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 78 to 66 and 17 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery was up 0.41% or 0.32 to $78.04 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 1.73% or 1.18 to hit $67.03 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1301.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.03% to 1.1659, while EUR/GBP fell 0.08% to 0.8773.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.12.
