Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Utilities and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV), which rose 2.54% or 0.31 points to trade at 12.30 at the close. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) added 1.04% or 0.54 points to end at 52.68 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:NDAFI) was up 0.58% or 0.06 points to 10.46 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which lost 5.64% or 0.57 points to trade at 9.62 in late trade. TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO) declined 5.04% or 0.91 points to end at 17.13 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:QTCOM) shed 2.81% or 2.55 points to 88.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 99 to 67 and 24 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 3.52% or 2.75 to $80.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 3.74% or 2.78 to hit $77.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 2.20 to trade at $2,665.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.00% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.39% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 102.24.
