Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.05% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB), which rose 1.46% or 0.06 points to trade at 4.16 at the close. Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA) added 0.93% or 0.04 points to end at 4.36 and TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO) was up 0.78% or 0.13 points to 16.76 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Kemira Oyj (HE:KEMIRA), which lost 2.00% or 0.39 points to trade at 19.11 in late trade. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) declined 0.89% or 0.42 points to end at 46.73 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) shed 0.79% or 0.34 points to 42.44.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for March delivery was down 0.07% or 0.05 to $73.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.11% or 0.08 to hit $70.02 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 13.16 to trade at $2,648.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.17% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.46% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 107.89.
