Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 3.10% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 0.17% or 0.20 points to trade at 120.70 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) fell 0.75% or 80.00 points to end at 10,520.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 0.97% or 105.00 points to 10,730.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which lost 7.28% or 139.50 points to trade at 1,777.00 in late trade. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) declined 6.75% or 59.50 points to end at 821.50 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) shed 6.46% or 10.80 points to 155.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 130 to 15 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.45% or 0.33 to $73.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.35% or 0.27 to hit $76.54 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.99% or 24.45 to trade at $2,445.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.51% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.57% at 102.40.
