Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb), which rose 1.16% or 4.70 points to trade at 410.00 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 0.65% or 0.90 points to end at 131.10 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 0.56% or 6.00 points to 1,086.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which lost 3.58% or 440.00 points to trade at 11,850.00 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 3.29% or 390.00 points to end at 11,460.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) shed 2.21% or 16.30 points to 721.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 48 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.50% or 1.03 to $69.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.40% or 1.02 to hit $73.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 17.00 to trade at $2,668.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.54% to 7.11, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 106.92.
