Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.97%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 1.92% or 21.00 points to trade at 1,114.50 at the close. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) added 0.78% or 5.00 points to end at 645.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 0.09% or 0.50 points to 535.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which lost 4.99% or 46.60 points to trade at 887.80 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 3.02% or 4.90 points to end at 155.90 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) shed 2.50% or 9.50 points to 370.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 83 to 47 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.48% or 0.35 to $73.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.45% or 0.35 to hit $77.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 5.70 to trade at $2,547.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.72, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 101.49.
