Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.48% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 2.32% or 3.10 points to trade at 134.60 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.76% or 18.50 points to end at 1,067.00 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 1.38% or 3.60 points to 264.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which lost 9.43% or 50.50 points to trade at 485.00 in late trade. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 3.27% or 14.20 points to end at 419.90 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) shed 2.87% or 3.80 points to 128.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 35 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.12% or 0.08 to $67.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.27% or 0.19 to hit $70.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 21.65 to trade at $2,777.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.20% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 104.31.
