Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 1.55% or 5.5 points to trade at 359.7 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.29% or 13.5 points to end at 1058.5 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 0.99% or 1.8 points to 183.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 3.95% or 350 points to trade at 8510 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 3.88% or 16.3 points to end at 404.1 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 3.57% or 338 points to 9122.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 71 to 57 and 6 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.27% or 0.85 to $67.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.18% or 0.85 to hit $72.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.30 to trade at $1220.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.97% to 6.5303, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4533.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.69% at 96.12.
