Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 2.43% or 21.90 points to trade at 921.50 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 1.49% or 13.40 points to end at 914.20 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) was up 1.48% or 6.50 points to 447.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which lost 9.17% or 16.80 points to trade at 166.40 in late trade. Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) declined 2.25% or 3.40 points to end at 147.70 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) shed 1.03% or 19.00 points to 1,825.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 72 to 59 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.86% or 1.34 to $73.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.83% or 1.39 to hit $77.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.36% or 34.75 to trade at $2,512.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.34% to 6.72, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 101.39.
