Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 1.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL), which rose 5.44% or 490.00 points to trade at 9,500.00 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p) added 4.61% or 350.00 points to end at 7,950.00 and Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) was up 3.01% or 95.00 points to 3,250.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which lost 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 in late trade. Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) declined 0.77% or 280.00 points to end at 36,280.00 and Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) shed 0.64% or 220.00 points to 34,260.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.70% or 1.70 to $246.05 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 3.88% or 285.00 to hit $7,623.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 10.80 to trade at $2,552.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.11% to 4,009.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.84% to 731.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 101.24.
