Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 1.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 1.13% or 160.0 points to trade at 14260.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 0.90% or 10.0 points to end at 1125.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 0.78% or 120.0 points to 15600.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 3.30% or 10.0 points to trade at 293.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 2.94% or 10.0 points to end at 330.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 2.53% or 780.0 points to 30100.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 10 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.25% or 0.30 to $122.05 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 3.25% or 72.00 to hit $2142.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1228.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.11% to 3092.90, while BRL/COP fell 0.20% to 829.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 95.68.
