Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 1.00%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 2.22% or 1460.0 points to trade at 67280.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.22% or 55.0 points to end at 4555.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) was up 0.81% or 0.2 points to 24.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which lost 2.34% or 660.0 points to trade at 27540.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 2.02% or 35.0 points to end at 1700.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 2.00% or 580.0 points to 28480.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 20 to 6 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.81% or 3.46 to $126.38 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 3.11% or 66.00 to hit $2054.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.44 to trade at $1276.86 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.22% to 3028.35, while BRL/COP fell 1.22% to 926.48.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 94.61.
