Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.65%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p), which rose 5.55% or 1,120.00 points to trade at 21,300.00 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) added 3.29% or 580.00 points to end at 18,200.00 and Promigas (BVC:PMG) was up 2.53% or 190.00 points to 7,690.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (BVC:ETB), which lost 6.43% or 5.50 points to trade at 80.00 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) declined 4.49% or 480.00 points to end at 10,200.00 and Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p) shed 2.34% or 280.00 points to 11,700.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 3.56% or 8.88 to $258.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.24% or 94.00 to hit $7,682.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.99% or 25.60 to trade at $2,606.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.76% to 4,178.31, while BRL/COP rose 0.33% to 750.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 101.11.
