Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA), which rose 4.61% or 2,800.00 points to trade at 63,480.00 at the close. Promigas (BVC:PMG) added 1.93% or 140.00 points to end at 7,400.00 and Etb (BVC:ETB) was up 1.88% or 1.50 points to 81.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which lost 4.47% or 500.00 points to trade at 10,680.00 in late trade. Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) declined 1.49% or 540.00 points to end at 35,660.00 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:SIS_p) shed 1.10% or 240.00 points to 21,600.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 3.00% or 7.70 to $248.75 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.68% or 52.50 to hit $7,688.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 16.80 to trade at $2,554.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.03% to 4,127.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.11% to 732.79.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 101.30.
