Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.55%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 3.68% or 980.0 points to trade at 27640.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 3.56% or 900.0 points to end at 26200.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was up 0.99% or 90.0 points to 9170.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 8.66% or 155.0 points to trade at 1635.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 3.05% or 180.0 points to end at 5730.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 2.70% or 90.0 points to 3240.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 9 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.82% or 1.05 to $128.62 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.58% or 18.50 to hit $3222.00 , while the August Gold contract fell 0.34% or 4.00 to trade at $1181.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.10% to 2540.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.19% to 821.66.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.18% at 95.23.
