Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which rose 3.48% or 420.00 points to trade at 12,500.00 at the close. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA) added 2.50% or 420.00 points to end at 17,220.00 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:GAA_p) was up 2.42% or 11.00 points to 466.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS), which lost 1.94% or 700.00 points to trade at 35,300.00 in late trade. Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) declined 1.69% or 320.00 points to end at 18,560.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO) shed 1.39% or 25.00 points to 1,775.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.03% or 0.08 to $295.97 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.65% or 343.00 to hit $9,059.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 6.72 to trade at $2,665.22 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.44% to 4,437.25, while BRL/COP fell 0.29% to 733.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 106.32.
