Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.45% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Promigas (CN:PMG), which rose 5.72% or 330.0 points to trade at 6100.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 1.34% or 70.0 points to end at 5290.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was up 0.98% or 120.0 points to 12320.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 2.40% or 95.0 points to trade at 3865.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.48% or 4.0 points to end at 266.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) shed 1.42% or 460.0 points to 32020.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 6 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.92% or 3.43 to $121.08 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.90% or 20.00 to hit $2200.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.00% or 12.20 to trade at $1233.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.81% to 3110.45, while BRL/COP rose 0.47% to 840.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 95.69.
